Introducing a collection of paintings inspired by the garden in morning light and the gorgeous mystery of the light of the midnight hour.
My painted garden essay is body of work celebrating blossoms, seed pods and blooms from the flower garden and the forest. Flowers are a favorite motif found in my work. The garden is so full of gifts.
The work is colorful, energetic, giving a vibrant nod to nature. My creative joy is the movement of paint as I create and share my spirit and soul of that intuitive place. Painting is magical to me and I love to move the paint with expressive brushstrokes to create beauty.
Time spent in my garden, at The NY botanical garden, The Polly Hill Arboretum in Martha’s Vineyard and at local farmer’s market fill many a sketchbook. When paint touches the paper, the flow and the rhythm make the brush an instrument which captures my love of painting.
